Prospect adopted by Burundi`s FESEC

This week, we conducted a successful training session to prepare for the launch of Prospect’s results-based financing (RBF) instance for the FESEC Project in Burundi. 

The Fonds d’Energie Solaire et de la Cuisson (FESEC) program, financed by the World Bank, aims to increase affordable clean energy access in rural Burundi, where electrification rates remain very low.

The training for the FESEC team and participating offgrid solar companies was led by Prospect and Eleorun Energy Solutions. Prospect will facilitate the digital monitoring, reporting, and verification, streamline RBF claims management, and empower stakeholders to make data-driven, transparent decisions.

This initiative is a cooperation between Eleorun Energy Solutions, Prospect, and Bamboo Capital. We are proud to collaborate to promote accountability and transparency while assisting to expand clean energy across Burundi!
