PoA Design Consultation for GS CDM PoA ‘Solar systems for small businesses and households’

A2EI will develop a carbon Programme of Activities that will be certified under the Clean Development Mechanism and the Gold Standard – and we are asking for stakeholder feedback. Please find the invitation for the PoA Design Consultation below:

Dear stakeholder,

The German company ‘Access to Energy Institute’ (A2EI) will develop a carbon Programme of Activities (PoA) called ‘Solar systems for small businesses and households’ which will be certified under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and the Gold Standard (GS). The PoA will cover several countries (for the list of countries, please see attached Non-Technical Summary) and may be extended to other countries later on. The objective of the PoA is the dissemination of solar photovoltaic based electricity generation systems to Small and Medium Enterprises and households replacing fossil fuel based generators.

We are interested in receiving your comments on the programme design at this early stage of PoA implementation so that we can further improve the programme design. Please find attached to this invitation the Non-Technical Summary of the PoA upon which we invite you to give your feedback.
You are invited to fill and send back the attached Feedback Form by 13th of June 2021 latest to allow us to take into account your suggestions.
